Sugarbush is more than the quintessential Vermont ski resort. It’s a dare to be better. In order to prove this, Sugarbush needed to re-brand and re-position itself in the market, and it needed our help. The resort already provided a true and unique experience to its customers from the architecture to the attitude. The brand just wasn’t leveraging it.
We reached audiences through a highly targeted, digitally integrated plan. Great care was taken to craft the right message for the right audience – what matters most to a skier in Boston might not mean so much to one in Vermont. Our goal was to reach the most relevant audiences at the right time with the most meaningful message – always leveraging the innate attitude of the Sugarbush experience.
Stowe Mountain Resort needed to maintain its reputation and positioning as an elite ski resort offering a one-of-a-kind experience, while increasing season pass sales, vacation package bookings, and lift ticket sales.
Stowe’s existing skier/rider base was identified as passionate about the Stowe brand, and predisposed to sharing their passions with other skiers/riders. We decided to infiltrate and engage with Stowe’s existing skier/rider base when and where they were “suffering” from being off-resort and reward them when they were, through a multi-channel effort.
